Hey everyone I got my mom to order a list of stuff from sonic electronix for Christmas. She got everything right but the fuses. I got 2 rockford fosgate p1s4 15s, a kenwood kac5001ps, a Belva bak42 4 gauge wiring kit and 2 Belva sealed boxes. The wiring kit came with and says to use an 80amp mini anl fuse. The amps manual says that it's power consumption is 36 amps. My mom ordered 4 40 amp mini anls. Will I still be able to use the 40amp fuses?

So you have 4 40 amp fuses and the wiring came with an 80. Just use what came with kit and keep the others for spares. The fusing for the wire is more to protect the cars electrical system than the amp. The amp should have built in fusing to protect it, the wiring is just capable of transferring that amperage through so they give it the biggest fuse possible.

You could get something like these, screw one side to the box and the other to the trunk floor.. Just make sure you check what's underneath where you're planning on screwing through the floor and use screws of proper length. No need for really long screws for that.. http://www.lowes.com/pd_315687-1277-DPB115_0__?productId=3169841&Ntt=stanley+angle+brackets&pl=1&currentURL=%3FNtt%3Dstanley%2Bangle%2Bbrackets&facetInfo= You can probably find them cheaper elsewhere like on eBay so shop around. There are different sizes available as well.

I thought about screwing them down but there's a hatch underneath where I keep my jumper cables and my jack so I can't I'm thinking about ratchet strapping them to my back seat or something like that

Yeah man, if you cant do it one way get creative. That's what makes every system unique. First system? Good shit. Couple tips if I could: Learn numbers and equations. There is a lot of math. You will get some stuff wrong but that's when you learn! I get shit wrong too. Happens. And big 3. Very easy, semi expensive. Helps a lot!! P1's were my first. I had the old s8's. They cant handle abuse but they sounded great on a RFp200 in 3 cube @33hz. I picked up "some" flex with em. Great subs. ^p112s8's
