I opened one of the subs and it wasn't super stiff so I'm not too worried about it. EP95 Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 Breaking in is really only for the big spl subs(DC level 6, DD 9500 series, etc) and thats only cause they come with suspensions so tight you can barely move them by hand, but even then it more or less useless and theres no reason you cant turn em up right out of the box. Just hook em up and play a 20hz tone at low volume if you want to be sure.
