BigGains
I decided to do a blow through in my ext cab silverado, doing a bandpass design via ram designs. The problem im having wich I didn't think of before getting my dc xl 18s is my box will be 20" tall 49" wide and 74" deep 20" will be about 3/4 over my rails hince the hard top bed cover I want to go with wont close and lock.... anybody know what I could do to get around this? Only thing I can come up with is to abort the blow through and go with the wall.... 2003 silverado TEAM DC Pioneer Avh 5500 4 DC lvl 5 18s 12 crescendo pwx 6.5s 4 crescendo ft1 tweets 6xs d3400s Singer 400 alt Skyhigh ofc wires Skyhigh speaker wires Smd vm1 2 DC 175.4 DC 10k
Aj11
Is there a different hard top cover with more clearance? i mean 3/4 of a inch isn't much(enough for it not to Close yes) but there's no way you can sand down and trim your tuck to fit. or try and fabricate something along your bed rails to raise them 3/4in jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
BigGains
I was thinking that as well about trying to fabricate something to go all the way around to were the cover will close in lock but haven't quite figured it out yet 2003 silverado TEAM DC Pioneer Avh 5500 4 DC lvl 5 18s 12 crescendo pwx 6.5s 4 crescendo ft1 tweets 6xs d3400s Singer 400 alt Skyhigh ofc wires Skyhigh speaker wires Smd vm1 2 DC 175.4 DC 10k

Broke_Audio_Addict
Could you slant the baffle to cut down on enclosure height and add to the length to make up the difference? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. BigGains
Id like the wall idea, my only concern is if id have to give up alot of leg room and being pushed up to the steering wheel, im 6'2 2003 silverado TEAM DC Pioneer Avh 5500 4 DC lvl 5 18s 12 crescendo pwx 6.5s 4 crescendo ft1 tweets 6xs d3400s Singer 400 alt Skyhigh ofc wires Skyhigh speaker wires Smd vm1 2 DC 175.4 DC 10k
dolarbilz
You can get away with 19.25 height you will need to notch top and bottom of box to fit woofer.I have done this.or you can angle woofer baffle I have done this. with angle of baffle you may be able get down to 19 or 18.75 to make bed cover fit perfect plus locks on cover can be adjusted up and down.at least mine is.
