Saturday is the funeral and is approaching rapidly... I have come to terms with his passing but something tells me that attending this final farewell is really gonna hit me hard not that it hasnt already but I have a feeling that reality is going to truly hit me that he is gone gone :'(

Your message was heart felt to say the least man I went through the same thing first with my grandma then with my grandpa it never gets easier, but in time you learn to better understand and I think that is what has allowed you to come to terms thus far. It is going to be rough saying that final parting message, but remember the good times and never let go of what you had, because if you do its lost. Many prayers go out to you and all that have been through alike times!
