How are you asking this question? 1) You will always get more for a vehicle selling it outright. If you don't you did it wrong. 2) Can you replace the gear you have for the $1000? OR Can you pull it and sell if for more than $1000? 3) Are you selling the rims separately? If not, do that too. 4) Asking because I have friends that do this--Is your laziness in not wanting to pull your gear worth the difference in loss? Daaaaaaaamn. Ha. Really I started with a pros/cons list and it got a little negative. Didn't mean it to be. Just tried laying it out to read at face value. Then I got to thinking about all the people I know that have given away 10s of thousands of dollars this way after I told them not to and I got a little umm, direct. They all say "I know" but then do it any way. Then when the detailing kid comes into our store with their old gear that he got for free when the dealer pulled it out of the car they get all pissed off about it. Static drops are my bag.

john253a Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 When it's me I take the subs out or replace with s/hand or new entry stuff I never worry about the speakers, 5-600 to replace and I'm yet to ever get the same model or size so it defeats the point
