I'm not the best installer or anything but how dad taught me was a hanger/wire snake/thick long zip tie....

Take the wire, twirl it around said object like a circular staircase. Wrap it nicely and smoothly in electrical tape for at least a foot..

Lube it and the area like crazy... Never enough lube. Again mine is sunscreen or lithium grease.

Go to work.

I don't think he needs to drill i think he needs to take a step back and refocus. It's gonna suck and it's gonna hurt and probably bleed a little but you can do it.

even if a zip tie fits through, what good is that? I need to jam 12 gauge through it and thats not happening with how tightly packed it is, i also can even get my hand on or near the hole!!

I know with mine I was able to take the grommet thing off of the door and the body so that I had some time to wiggle wires around and play with it. That being said, I also don't have a lot of wires that go into my door so it wasn't as difficult as yours sounds, but no easy task. Take some Adderall and you will have it done in no-time

Edit: As tight as it sounds, you might want to cut a slit in the tube to stuff the wire then seal it back up. Personally for something like this, I would rather drill a couple holes and add my own hardware for a grommet

Anyways I know you can do it. Through my last couple comments is how dad and I have been running wires for a long time.

If you fit the zip tie though... Then get it through like a foot... Wrap the wire around it like I said very tightly with electrical tape. Lube the piss out of it.,. And pull from the other side.

The wrapping technique will make the wire hold on even tighter when it try's to be forced off.

I've done this one time where it failed, but the spiraled wire turned into a big knot at the bottom of the snake instead of slipping off.

I re wrapped into a more streamlined spiral and tried again...,,, more lube.
