3 10s, 2800 watts, and a 4th order vs a 99 Nissan Maxima!

Recommended Posts

Good friend of mine came to me saying he finally had some money to go ahead and put a system in his maxima. He wanted to do a full system. He already had a pioneer touchscreen radio, and thats about it. So, we needed to get 4 interior speakers, 4 channel amp, subs, sub amp,

box, and wiring for everything. He wanted it to be pretty loud also, with the bass able to get a good bit louder than the mids and highs.

So, stretching the budget as far as I could for him, we got this list of stuff

3 Soundqubed HDS200 10s

MB Quart 4.60

Hifonics Brutus Elite 2500.1

2 sets of Pheonix Gold components

Sky High wiring for everything.

A 4th order bandpass box stained and polyurethaned with plexiglass windows.

The 4th order is a 2.5 to 1 ratio that will be tuned at about 46 hz

Decided since we wanted to bring out the natural stain look that we would use halogen lighting for the box.

Thats all I have for now. The port will be cut tomorrow when i the car gets here. It will be firing through the back armrest and i didnt want to cut it until the car was here because i want to make sure it fits perfectly. But the box is wired and ready to drop in. We just need to swap the speakers, and run wires for both the amps and (fingers crossed), it should be playing tomorrow! Stay tuned and i will post more pictures when its done!
