Bang_Stang
well thanks guys, currently i have 2 12s back there (fosgate P2's) and they hit like a mofo LOL!!! but a quick question about airspace since it pertains to my next system build in it... say i have a 15 inch sub the sub is facing straight up, i know i wont have much room vertically, but does it matter if the air space in the box is stretched out? i hope im making sense like, say i the sub is 1 foot tall, and the box is 1 foot and a cuple inches, and it is supposed to be like 2ft or something (just random measurements)//// and its is supossed to be 20 inches wide, and i make it that wide/// and it is supposed to be 16 inches long, but instead of that, i make up the distance i cut out height wise, i add it to the 16 inches and still the the right box volume???? please help, im trying to make sense here lol Quote huh? did u say something? banginAltima
In your case, you don't have a big enough trunk to have air space separation. Are you going for a ported or sealed box? Side note: if you were to get say.. an btl 15 you would almost have to build the box in the trunk to get the required box volume. Quote If you build it, db's will come... duct_tape123
My brother had a Rockford 15" P3 sealed off a 750.1 in an '02 'Stang and it SLAMMED!! As long as you have the recommended ft^3 the actual dimensions don't really matter. Edited March 11, 2008 by duct_tape123

With your car this isn't an issue. If you are planning on spending the money for RF T2's, you might as well get a BTL. I don't think you will be happy in a sealed box. To get the best bang for the buck you should port it into the cabin area. Quote If you build it, db's will come... Amalan
This made me giggle. Thanks for brightening my day. lol you too huh? i guess the thread title is accurate to the op. to the op, i mean if you want like no trunk space whatsoever you could do what david posted up and go with 2 15s but like everyone has already said, youre not going to fit 4 15s in the trunk of that stang.
