Maybe I missed it, why did you gut it so far down?

Anyway, the box looks great! A little rough cut is nothing a flush trim bit can't fix.

got the sub in the other day:

6B81B78A-2628-4A47-B61B-672C3FA35839_zps

this woofer gets down, i think i need more power for it lol, kills anything between 29-36hz with major authority

Also got my ipad dash peices painted, as well as some of my other interior pieces. The other interior trim i painted was originally silver, such as my dash vents, hvac controls, shifter ring, steering wheel trim, and door handle trim.. decided to make them all match

i used paint code matched aerosol from automotivetouchup.com, they do a very good job at mixing to match a paint code

the color match is crazy close, this is after second coat of clear coat, after it dried

Dash color looks damn close. I wouldn't be able to tell. Box came out great too. Very excited to see it finished up. :D

Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do that
I can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows

came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream.

oh lawd.

Where all have you put deadener in your TC? As you know I have one too and deadener is next on my list of things to do. I'm also considering replacing the deck with a much better aftermarket one so I can have a built in eq. Do you still have use of your Bluetooth mic in the car and steering wheel controls? I guess I could always just add a RF 360 or other aftermarket equalizer but I like the thought of an indash touchscreen. I know they have a stock touchscreen I could buy but I would still need an eq.

I have replaced the door speakers if you need any help with that let me know. I'm also going to do a big three this weekend and finish my box. Let me know if you want to see pics.

Edit: If you end up deciding to build a new box anytime soon try firing the sub up and port to the drivers side.
