timc31610
I agree Bluejoules, take several pics, carefully bend it back straight, check the coil with your DMM and notify SQ, especially if there is no damage to the box. Those things come packaged well, looks like it happened during packaging. Impalalpine
looks like the part of the basket where the terminals attach to got bent Looks like the push terminals got pushed in towards the subwoofer. Maybe during unboxing or shipping? The box it was shipped it wasn't crushed at all was it? You guys were exactly right, the box has a diagonal piece of foam that the terminals touch inside the box and when the sub is turned on it's side inside the foam it bends them in. Everything is all good. Triticum Agricolam
Glad you got it all straightened out. Sounds like the packaging design could use some improvement. Keep us updated! OzzieComm
Yep, notify SQ of what has happened, stress cracks may have formed and with vibrating forces..... dont want that to snap off and start to float around inside a box, could lead to "Who knows??" nothing to see here... Impalalpine
Will the lip on the edge of the duscap fit snug on my drivers? These are cheaper than the AQ one and looks better. Will that screw with the fs? or something (could be a good thing) 8" carbon fiber dustcap. $35 http://www.wooferwarehouse.com/Genesis-Custom-Audio-8-Black-CF-Dust-Cap_p_307.html Build's consist of: 2004 Chevy Impala : Pioneer--------------------- DEH-X8600bs Soundqubed/AQ------ Q4-120 Rockford Fosgate---- Punch-500.4 Soundqubed/AQ----- Q1-3500D.1 Alpine----------------- 6.5's & 6x9's Subs: TBA All Knukonceptz and SHCA wire and rca's Home Music Setup (4) Soundqubed HDS200 15's in two separate 15.5 cubic foot enclosures tuned to 31 hrz --- XM radio hardwire Updates coming all the time on both builds n8ball2013 "bullshit.
