So- We have had quite a few requests from SPL competitors all over the world looking for a low cost, universal 16 volt alternator that they can mount as a second alternator to keep their 16 volt battery bank charged. Most of our overseas customers make their own alternator brackets anyway, so we thought we would go ahead and mass produce them. We offer two sizes, both of them small case. They are all "one wire" hookup, so you don't have to bother with wiring up a plug or anything like that. Simply hook up the positive and negative battery cables from the alternator to the 16 volt battery bank and the alternator does the rest- totally simple. automatic and self regulating. We even include V belt and 6 rib pulleys so that it will work on virtually any setup. Please don't ask if we have any brackets to fit these alternators to any particular vehicle, because we don't! These units are for the DIY competitor on a budget who is capable of making their own brackets. In most cases, these alternators are less expensive than a 16 volt battery charger!! I have 2 Zv3 15's in my 92 Accord. I have D2's so I right now I will have about 1200rms per sub until I get new amps. I do all of my installs myself except for the box building but the guy who builds my boxes has never built with Sundown before so I decided to post here first to see whats recommended. This build will be SPL only because I have another car for a daily setup and I plan on using a slot port instead of aero port. What box and port size do you guys recommend? Thanks -
Hey guys, Im going down to a single 18" pierce audio products wmd 2k series D2.....i want to make this a spl/burp box, each coil will see 1.5k each. my max dimensions are 42" wide 20" height 19" deep...anyone out ther help me with slot port size and or tuning? thanks and all your previous help is appreciated!!!

The loudest song I have found on the meter is Moan by Lil Wayne Ft. Rick Ross. It was on a decaf zip. Its around .7 db louder then my next closest. I got some new ones I'm going to try at the next comp/test and tune -

I just got 4 cars ready for comp this year and i cant find one to go to, i am new to the comp scene but i have been installing for a few years now seeing as though i manage a car audio shop i thought it is to start competing. i am in north central WI and will drive 100 miles for a comp please sombody HELP i have the ich, not the kind u go to the doctor and get that little comb and some shampoo for either. I HAVE SPL FEVER. any comp big or small will work.
