bdharvin Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 My cousin told me about the c2 audio subs. ....im thinking about getting some But my only concern is will be able to handle my hifonics 2000.1d even though the rated rms is 600..... what do you guys think?
TortoiseShore Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 I doubt the threatcon-2 would, but the threatcon-4 should be able to since you probably won't see all 2000 out of that amp.
C2 Audio Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 I can help a little on this question :-) Yes the Threatcon-2 woofers will handle your amp when used in the correct box. I recommend using 1.75 cubes for this power and keep tuning around 34Hz.. Also make sure you keep in consideration your gain on the 2000.1d. In my experience with this amp at high gain levels they will toss out lots of dirty power. Even if the woofer appears to take the power with ease, dirty power at full tilt does cause heat... and heat causes problems. So basically with correct box and common sense on adjusting, you will be good to go. -Chris www.c2audio.com Car Stereo LLC 5462 Mahoning Ave. Youngstown, OH 44515 330-953-0331 Hours: Mon-Fri 9-5 est
Keith77 Posted March 6, 2014 Report Posted March 6, 2014 Cheap Chinese crap. You can do better Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born. My penis is bigger than your penis I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.
