I'm not building my system for comp its more for fun for me and to be fun for the ppl I hang with they get a kick out of the bs I got in my trunk now. My question is do I have to now about all of this: xmax the Q's and Fs I know my box being tuned right is important and electric is most important I just don't want to blow a couple grand to f it all up

I read a lot almost all the post in a lot of categories and in the enclosure section there was a lot of talk about Max some q thing and some f thing lol I'm stupid but I just want to make sure I'm not going to waste money cause if that's the case I'll by some R's and a big amp and call it a day. I don't want to do that I want to do it nice and right

Don't over think it. If you're not exactly sure what you want just start with a good quality 1000w rms amp and a pair of sealed 12's and go from there.

There are tons of people here and on YouTube that post all types of information. Find somebody you trust, and reach out to them. Mark at Caraudiofabrication.com will design a custom box for you and send you the cut sheet for you to build yourself. There are TONS of resources to get what you want accomplished. Learning about TS parameters and all of the other jazz just makes you appreciate their work that much more.

IT'S SCIENCE!!!
