Sethorama Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 My truck is stock with dual battery's. 2 d3400s Singer 275amp alternator Stock wiring is only alternator to passenger battery. Should I add an additional run from alt to the driver side battery? Or would just one run to one battery be okay? Also big 3 is done underhood if Singer 250 2 d3400s up front Xp3000 rear 2 dc xls 12s m2 AB VFL 500.1

Sethorama Posted February 23, 2014 Author Report Posted February 23, 2014 Id do Singer to pass batt in 1/0 Then pass batt to driver batt in 1/0That's how it is currently wired.Would wiring the singer to both battery's help charger both battery better?
alaskanzx5 Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 from what mechman says is that its best not to run multiple wires from alt to batts. something about overheating. you most likely wont see an increase in voltage except at that one battery anyways so the cost just wouldn't be worth it imo. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

I doubt you draw enough current to make a difference.
