iKidwell Posted February 25, 2014 Report Posted February 25, 2014 Alright, so i've been looking at doing a little something in my infiniti now and soundqubed has caught my attention, i originally thought i wanted to do either a single 12 or 15 hds300, but then remembered how much i loved the aq sdc2.5 15 that i'd had a while ago. I also saw that i could still buy the sdc's instead of the hds200's, but they're a little more expensive and i'm not sure if it's worth doing. The main reason i'd want the sdc's is because of the basket over the basket of hds200. Main question here is: What are the main differences in the sdc2.5 and the hds200 series from SQ? And: In your opinion is the $11 extra worth spending on the sdc2.5 Note: I want to know physical differences c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress

jarrius Posted February 25, 2014 Report Posted February 25, 2014 Imo first the 2.5 and the 200 are pretty much the same sub becides the cosmetic things they did change tho was the 2.5 was direct leads where as the 200 has terminals now. I also feel they actually rated the 200 like the 2.5 should have been. Other then those I'm kinds in for a answer my self. There both still great suns and the $11.00 difference should not matter Imo. I'm just not gonna have the power that they're going to want the 300 series still sounds good underpowered and leaves room for future upgrades. mine are are sharing "1200"rms (saving up for better amp) so realistically 500ish per sub and sound good.
