I washed with soapy water. I didnt sand anything or nothing, I read a tutorial about the best way to do it for prepping but I wasnt all too worried about it, Its just my daily driver, nothing special, I'm getting new car end of year so im not all too worried about it

yes def. and the thing about the spray.. you determine how dark you want it. I wanted enough to make a difference but not so much that my lights are dull at night, i still want people to see me lol

When I did my monte carlo way back I put three coats of automotive clear on them after... made the niteshades look 100x better.

my buddy did that to his focus, and im gonna do it to my car when i get time. he didnt clear his, but he shouldve. they still look good, but dull. i want them to be kind of glossy.

btw, you should be able to find automotive clear at any auto parts store that sells paint touchup and shit. hell, i think walmart carries it too.
