Rudemaxxx
Try grounding the volt meter to something while keeping the other connection on the battery. I had to do that to mine and found out I had a bad ground. Troy Mihalcheon
14.4 to the grounded amp (-) terminal. and 12.8 to the grounded battery (-) Ill try to get a pic but it wont be much, I drilled through thicker metal and sanded both sides before using a bolt/lockwashers and washers to lock it down... the canadian winters suck though

SnowDrifter
Looks like itDoes your car have strut towers you can ground to? Your current location, although it's a chunk of metal, isn't electrically attached to the rest of the system ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
