Dude2800 Posted March 7, 2014 Report Posted March 7, 2014 There's a lot of people running hifonics. They are cheap amp and some are cea compliant. I would save my money and get something better but if you just want something cheap, you could check them out.
afrakes Posted March 7, 2014 Report Posted March 7, 2014 Usually when a company claims 1800 rms at 1 ohm, for $200 new, they're full of shit. Imho. edit: buy used Vehicle: 2014 GMC Sierra 2500HD WT Head Unit: Pioneer DEH- Mids/Highs: Focal Integration ISC 165’s (front) Subs/Amps: TBD
TS2GFrank Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 I've had bad experiences and know plenty others who have bad experiences with the Big Bang amps. Very few of these amps failed because of the installer. IMO if you're gonna run Planet Audio then get the TORQ series amp. They aren't very good amps but they're the best I've seen made by Planet Audio. The TORQ1601 does about 1100
