It's one of the biggest problems science has run across on their quest to explain the universe, but they choose to ingnore it because no one knows for sure. Amalan Posted March 13, 2008 Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 well scientists are testing out the string theory as we speak last year one of the guys building this giant machine which I forget what its called I'll get more info on it when I get home but essentially it speeds up atoms to a certain high speed and collide them to see what's the smallest we can actually get like what atoms are made of this machine which a bunch of scientists from around the world are working on should be done in a few years but the data collected can only be processed as fast as themodern computers can calculate them and I remember the speaker saying with todays fastest industrial computer it would take 25-30 years to process Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
