melvinhob Posted May 7, 2014 Author Report Posted May 7, 2014 Well my 270xp from dc came in last week. I haven't installed it yet because I have been out of town. I have compared it to my stock alternator and everything seems to match up but the dc pulley has 6 grooves and my stock has 5 grooves. I called dc and the rep said that I could just put the belt on the inner 5 grooves of the pulley and I would have no problem. I trust the rep I just need confirmation from experienced people on this site.
