ncc74656 Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 when building a dual box should both subs share the air space or should each sub have its own air space - separate from the other? nothing, gutted

mothra Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 I always do common chamber. if nothing changes, nothing changes You don't know what you don't know, till you don't know
ncc74656 Posted March 20, 2014 Author Report Posted March 20, 2014 i see lots of premade boxes all have 2 separate chambers, just wanted to know if it mattered for any reason. when making a dual sub single slot port how do you factor in the size of the port in each individual chamber? nothing, gutted
deathcards Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 i see lots of premade boxes all have 2 separate chambers, just wanted to know if it mattered for any reason. when making a dual sub single slot port how do you factor in the size of the port in each individual chamber? most premades are shit and tuned high notice how i said most some actually have some know how as for the chambers i don't think it really matters but if they are in the same chamber i would suggest a lil bigger port area edit had a brain fart forgot to type the last word skar sk2500.1 0 gauge power and ground kunukonceptz alpine HUvxi65 components on BA gt-275new build log -> http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/150642-project-d-kon-deathcards-build-log/#entry2148821 2 x-15 sundowns singer alt, odyssey bat, and maxwell ultra caps
ncc74656 Posted March 20, 2014 Author Report Posted March 20, 2014 if there is no output difference e.g. no increased performance from sharing air space then i think i will go with 2 separate chambers to add support for the 20 cubic box, lord knows its gonna need it. nothing, gutted
