ProMaxx316
Time sure does fly. I left everything from the last update I put for a while. I wanted to get use to what I was hearing and make a plan for what I wanted next. Hunter had something I wanted and I got them. Got them home Got in touch with local shop to get me recones Did a little mock fitting and planing on how im going to do this. After talking to myself and a few beers later im done. . Yeah I had to order CF dust caps. Hang on while I upload a few more pics If it's worth building, it's worth over building.
ProMaxx316
Here they are next to my lv3 Now to work on the box To make this short and sweet. I did a little filling, some sanding. A little resin inside I had plans to do some nice paint and started thinking how much more prep I need to do and jumped right to plan b So one more good coat and it'll look good inside my dark truck. While all that above was going on I'll jump back a pinch on what I was doing between the re-cone and box work. And that's cleaning some wires Before During/mid way through. Forgot to take pic and the mess I had to label and make sure I was working on the proper wire for hook up And done If it's worth building, it's worth over building. ProMaxx316
ok so im still alive. Here is the update for my bucket. After i got the box and everything put in i was happy. For the few that got me on facebook you guys would of seen more updates on FB. So here is what i put. First time on the meter The set up is Mechman 240, XS 6500 under the hood, one run of 2/0 welding wire to the back, D975 in the back, Flatline FL2 for the subs, two 18" DC M2 lv4 with .7 XL coils, american bass 350.4 for the doors. After a few more hits she started running out of steam. We hooked up the vital power so see what i was pushing out of it. Got to like that voltage. But the other funny thing was the AVBM was showing low 13ish on the burp. So i figured that the 975 was either going bad or not up for the task. *edit* he had this vital power before the SMD dyno was released so at the time this is what he had. So with a bunch of reading, and a few emails and a phone call later i ordered up Voltage right out the box Size compared to the 975 Just slapped her in. I will fix up the wires later. But for now this will do. same day after i installed the battery Now the owner of the shop wants me to click a 155. We talked a little but im gonna simmer a bit. If it's worth building, it's worth over building.
