All I can say is ...im from california =(..lol I hope to get a ccw soon with the peruta vs san diego case going on...sd is accepting apps but not processing them so far. So will see I have a glock 27 which is a really small subcompact but I threw some extensions on the magazines which allow me to fit my pinky on the weapon..i hope ill get to carry soon..but I also have a glock 22 ..I like the bang of the 40 .but not an ass load of kick..im 5'11'' 185lbs. Its all up to what you like and whats your budget..I like glocks because theyre reliable and have no safety button ..no f'in around

You need trunk space to get groceries and shit...bitches love groceries

There are tons... I prefer the Galco Kingtuk for IWB carry for mine... Very simple yet comfortable design and rugged ...

Really depends on your budget whether you want an off the shelf brand or want to wait a few weeks for a custom leather or other material

This is what I use as well, takes a couple of days of wearing for the leather to soften up but after that it's fine.

I fugue if I'm gonna have it in me and want it comfy I have no problem waiting a few weeks for a good holster. Thanks for the insight.

Also have any of y'all had any experience with the diamondback or cal-tech handguns?

Alright I'll give that a look tonight. I saw one if the S&W's m&p's today when I went in to get ammo and I liked the look of it. I'll pbly test fire one this weekend if I get a chance.

I carry m&p 40c love it. Im a big guy 6' 400lbs and it disappears on my frame. Could easily carry a full size. Love the trigger and it eats any ammo I throw in it.

  • 2 months later...

It's been a while but I finally got my CCW in about a week and and just this past Friday I bought my carry gun. I was leaning towards the XDS .45 since I am very familiar with the system and love the guns. However when trying a couple out I found one I liked even better. I ended up going with a S&W M&P Shield .40. Perfect size and fits just right in my hand. I also got a CrossBreed IWB holster and when I carry the gun isn't even visible. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and help.
