TRON
Maybe you should look into a two alternators if you're tight on battery space. BeAlLsTaR13
run a pair of d3100s under your hood, you have 2 stock battery trays under that hood, which should ft a d3100 each, and run your 2 4800s in the rear, or if possible get rid of them for 2 more d3100s Quote Team Sundown Audio**CURRENT** -- 2012 Scion tC Build Click Here **OLD** -- 2002 Pontiac Grand AM Build Click Herecheck them out, slap me a comment2002 Pontiac Grand AM SE 2.2l 4 cylinder ecotec.-------------------------------------------------------------------Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9887Subs - 2x Z 12 v.2s - v.3 + NS Soft partsAmplifier - Sundown Audio SAZ-3500DEnclosure - 3.33 Cubes tuned to 34.66hzFront Stage - JBL P660c 6.5" ComponentsRear Deck - Powerbass 4xl 6.5" Mid-RangeFront Stage Amplifier - Sundown Audio SAX-100.4DWires - Kicker Hyperflex 1/0, KnuKonceptz 1/0, Knu 4 and 8 Gauge, Kicker RCAsElectrical - 275 AMP DC Power H/O Alternator, XS Power S3400, XS Power D2700Videos - http://www.youtube.com/user/BeAILsTaR13-------------------------------------------------------------------
RooTxBeeR
If I am correct, 3 d3100's has just under 300aH. That NS-1 is a 6500watt(underrated) amplifier. The alt you are talking about will give you 320A at it's full potential. That means, half of what the amp needs is readily availible, the rest in reserve. That juice in those batts will get sucked out rather quick man. CleanSierra
I thought the 31s were rated at 110aH each? I think they are all needed for that amp. Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
DollarBill1
Yes 3100 is 110ah and 7500 is 140ah Quote 2009 Chevy 2500HD Crew Cab Current Set up - Headunit - JVC 6100BT Mids/Highs - Sundown SA-6.5 CS x2 - 4 Crescendo pwx6.5's - 2 Crescendo ft1's Mids/Highs amps - 2 Sundown SAX100.4 V2 Sub amp - NS-1 V2 Alts - 2 Singer 320a 6 Phase 2 XS D4800 under the hood 2 XS D3100's in back 2 Sundown Team 18's walled
CleanSierra
I'm overkilling the piss out of my electrical. I'll be running 6 135aH batts on 3.5K for now to later upgrade to 7K down the line. Reserve is a good thing if you plan on running demos. Cap bank if you want stiff voltage. Look up BlackNasty or SnowDrifter on here and check out their banks. Autocorrect almost changed banks to balls. That would have had quite a different meaning....
