AQ120.4 Noise

Just recently began. When I turn on the car, I can hear a whiny noise from the amp, and then a few seconds later is heard through the mids/tweets.

What part inside the amp would cause noise if it failed? I am discounting external causes because the noise has just begun.

I had the same thing happen to my 90. The inputs eventually went out and had to be sent back for repair. Kinda high pitch ring type noise

Hmmmm I just acquired a AQ 200.2 and it did this the first time I hooked it up. I just got it so can't say its happened many times

Yeah no.

The amp has been in for a bit, and the sound just came about. Definitely not alt noise. Its a constant buzz/hum.

I see mine was only like the first 15 seconds or so and that's it. Well hope you find a fix for it
