fecupe2001
i know this is a few days old but still wanted to give OP my input, i have 2 trunk cars using only 2 12s each car, both of them burping over 151 dbs legal on small power and electrical, both cars has a "terry brocks" kind of box, if i were you, i would build a box for comps and a daily box, don´t mix both of them because it would get WAY more difficult to get a sick score. Box needs to be as far back as you can, port needs to be as close to the "mouth" of the trunk so the cabin acts like a 6th order bandpass, here you have both boxes, as you can see, one has longer ports to reach the "trunk mouth" and the other one has shorter to reach it also, both boxes has the same port area (one has 2 6s and the other one a single 8.5" port) , with a pair of 15s on a 10K you should be burping over 152 dbs. Mazda protege 323: 151.3 @ 53 hz , 2 loudforce 9012s on a loudforce 3500.1 Nissan Sentra b14 : 151.7 @ 59 hz using 2 loudforce 9012s on 2 loudforce 3500.1s I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. Aj11
wow doube the amps for .4 dbs? have you tried putting both amps on the dual 6inch port set up and seeing if the 151.7 goes up? just odd to see almost the same set up at almost the same meter ratting but one having double the power . think it's the ports that are causing the difference? jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)

alaskanzx5
I've talked with him already actually. He gave me some good advice. Some that I can't use due to fitment of subs but some that I can use for hopefully I slightly louder daily. Port to diver side subs back I believe was what worked best for him. I can't do subs back but I can do port to side with aero's. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. I can't do subs back but I can do port to side with aero's. port side works awesome on almost every hatchback out there, my suzuki swift burped over 144 at 32 hz using a 2K wired at 1 ohm and 2 10s , subs up/aero to the side, also my explorer was loudest with a single sub and worked great with multiple subs by using port to the side, 147.1 @ 45 hz with a single 12" and a 2K wired at 1 ohm with sub up/port side. What subs do you have? subs back/port side should work awesome in there I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. alaskanzx5
2 t2d415, can't get the needed airspace and still have room for ports to breath if I go subs back. Subs up and some forcing the seat to lock in place is what I see happening. Have like 3-4different ideas ranging from 2 6" ports to slot ports and working on a design for a 10" sonotube port. Net volume ranging from 6-6.8cuft and tuning ranging from 33-38hz. Not going for numbers wanting just a nice loud daily so I'll be testing the lower tuning boxes first. anyways lets nit continue this thread jacking lmao... t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
