frustratedbasshead Posted April 6, 2014 Author Report Posted April 6, 2014 Ok stock battery ground with 0 ga. 0 ga. Ran to fuse then from there everything else is 4 ga. Including to and from amp and amp is grounded to where the seat bolts to vehicle. 2005 yukon gmc under rear seat are all amps and cap.
frustratedbasshead Posted April 6, 2014 Author Report Posted April 6, 2014 Subs in box are ran parallel to one connector and from thwre ran to amp all in 4 ga.
Beanz Posted April 6, 2014 Report Posted April 6, 2014 Sounds like your gain is set too high That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
frustratedbasshead Posted April 6, 2014 Author Report Posted April 6, 2014 What does the gain control or do ?
CleanSierra Posted April 6, 2014 Report Posted April 6, 2014 Matches the input voltage from your HU. It is not a volume knob to be turned up freely. It's there to match the input voltage from your deck. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
CleanSierra Posted April 6, 2014 Report Posted April 6, 2014 And it also sounds like your likely culprit, or you are wired too a nominal ohm load of 1 ohm and not 4 ohms. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
frustratedbasshead Posted April 6, 2014 Author Report Posted April 6, 2014 Crap I have no idea what to do or what doing lol I wired it how the wiring diagram said I should to jave it at 4 ohms
CleanSierra Posted April 6, 2014 Report Posted April 6, 2014 You need to have subs wired like this for 4 ohms: Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
john253a Posted April 6, 2014 Report Posted April 6, 2014 I have a power 1500.1bd amp powering 2-dual 4ohm RF p3-12's ran in parallel to 4 ohms to amp./quote] Did any not read this That is 1 ohm not 4 That thing I'm supprised has not fryed thoes p3 That amp will be like 1800rms at 1ohm And he'll need the elect to back it up What size cable you running What size alt How many batteries Are you 100% you have d4 and not d2 Running at 0.5ohm Pics of the set may help
