evermaxx Posted April 8, 2014 Report Share Posted April 8, 2014 Got this and my singer alt in yesterday. Got alt in, and VCM wired. Turned on the car, got it in adj mode. Just to test, cleaned up and started the car again. Went to adjust it and Loc comes up. Now I held both buttons and it went to ADJ but only one button will come up. Kinda hard to explain, but when I press up it'll push up the down button and vise versa. Then LOC comes up. Really aggravated ATM. What do I do? Real96SS Posted April 8, 2014 Report Share Posted April 8, 2014 If the decimal point is blinking then its in Adj mode. Sometimes you have to push the up button alot before it will start to adjust. Make sure the factory alternator harness is plugged into the vcm pig tail harness......I have seen it more them once, just because the display is on does not mean the alt is turning on.
