I'm glad this turned into a LP/Blues audio is the best EVAR thread.

There is simply no need for isokits anymore, it is old technology and now woofers have for more motor force than they once did thus removing the need for two motors. Not to mention one isokit is $800+

Cablguy I don't know what you mean by you think something fishy is going on. I know what I want with my front stage and my amp because I have been researching stuff and I got some input from Steve McIntyre. I am having a hard time with my sub choice BECAUSE my husband is a basshead so the subs I know wouldn't work for the system I am trying to build. I have been checking out a bunch of different options I was just trying to get some input on drivers I hadn't heard of.

I understand, and my apologies. I will help out the best I can.

I just wish other people give helping suggestions instead of downgrading mine.

I would tell you that I've had a chance to demo both Image Dynamics and Arc Audio, And my honnest opinion on which driver I liked better ... but someone else would have a disagreement with me, just like some guys here are persistant on the Fi product.

So I'm not pursueing this thread any further. I gave my personal opinion (which is the Hyprid or the Linear Power products) on what I would use if it was my vehicle.

Again, my apologies.

Although I don't see anything wrong with using the q in an all out sq install. There's a reason hybrid is in the world record holding sq car owned by the owner of the company. I say go with the hybrid.

I know I'm coming in late... but I see the Fi Q more as an SQL driver really. I still need to play around with mine, but it definitely has a better sq sound than my past spl drivers.

I am a troll how? Because I recommended using the Q in a SQ setup? I am not the one that turned this into a LP thread and recommended a subwoofer that is 3x the price of the woofer in question.

Tell me why the iso-kit is a better option?

Why are you getting so emotional about my response?

It does have the ability to get loud but it will excel in a SQ install as well, it is a very linear woofer
