2011 hyundai genesis build help, thanks in advance!

Recommended Posts

whats up everyone, im about to start a build on my 2011 Hyundai genesis.

the equipment ill be running is as follows

- 2 12" dc level 4's on an sound qu 2200d

- speakers will consist of componets up front, which are sound qu QC's and rear doors ill be running QP's. speakers will be powered by a sound qu Q4 120

- im going to be on stock electrical for the time being. 110 amp alt and a decent battery, soon will be upgrading to xs power d4900

this car is the first car I have where I will be keeping the stock head unit.

this is the part where I need a bit of help, I have two PAC SNI 35 adjustable 2 channel line out converter's

question number one is, will these line out converters work?

question number two is, can I run more than one line out converter?

I will be using 2 amps so how should I go about running these?

and finally question number three is, where should I wire in the line out converters?

thanks in advance!

Some have 7 outputs from h/u and others 5

If 5 t-in before the front split and run 1 loc from each speaker

And piggy back the rears for sub(so 4 loc are needed)

Or if yours is the 7 with sub idd run an epicentre

Side note why you going sq everything and then lvl4 and not hdc3

ok, there is a stock sub in the car but no stock amp, so i would need to run a loc for each of the speakers? i currently have 2 locs on hand. would i put them in the dash? then run the rca's back to the amps?

also that'd be 4 sets of rca's.. but the amps only have 1 input for rca's each correct?

i just feel super confused about this i need to be treated like a child being explained something for the first time lol, in detail and broken down step by step haha sorry if thats too much to ask.

as far as why i have the level 4's its only because i have had them for 2 years in previous set ups as well as the 2200. just decided to go with sq speakers for this car as well

What loc do you have

Some do a pair of speaker, well most do

But if you running all stock everything

Now

Why not switch out the h/u and save the money on loc

im using PAC SNI 35 adjustable 2 channel line out converter's, im running a stock HU because as far as im aware there is nothing available for my car as far as dash monting kits go, unless im mistaken

Don't use the sni 35. I just ripped mine out of my car because how bad it sucked. Horrible sound quility and does not even put out 1v outs for the rca's

2012 Chevy sonic1xSQ HDC3 12 D2RF R1200d

140 square foot of Q-Mat(soon to be installed)

140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL

142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at)
