Can Someone Design A Pure Spl Box?

Recommended Posts

it's not only the box like they are saying it changes each way it fires.....

I have a slot ported in a crx, if ports and sub are foward it's almost a db lower then if i aim at the roof. Aim towards the rear another .5 db gain.

SPL= test, change, test, change, test, rebuild and start over testing....

from what I have read on the net, the jeeps like the sub and port facing the rear.

to get res frequency you will need to do alot of testing, the res freq will change everytime you make a change

get a 10" sub, build a 1 cube square box sealed, give this woofer 100wrms and start playing with it in the vehicle, move the box in various positions and run sweeps, write down the res freq everytime you run the sweep, it will change almost everytime you move the box in the vehicle

PURE SPL is all about test test and retest then test agian

Amen. banginAltima's current "frankenbox" has been cut, spliced, pieced, and patched more than Joan River's face.

hey man, leave my box alone. I know it won't take first in a beauty contest but it works.

sactownstang was right on...
