Paint dries faster than I build... (8 15's, 2 9.0's, weaksauce)

I'm not typically one to do a build log, so bare with me here. This is going to cover the last build (4 Lvl 6 M2 18's on 2 9.0's) followed by the new build (8 15's on 2 9.0's).

I don't have very many pictures of the building part of the first (or the finished for that matter LOL) I have a hard time chewing gum and walking so it was either hold the impact and my beer, or my beer and a camera, or two beers... you know, don't have three hands.

First off some great stuff and a bomb exploding in the interior:



Then went in 4 layers of Roadkill from the B pillar forward, MDF on the roof from the B back. No pictures. Blah.

Then we ran some wire... 6 runs of AT 1/0, doubled up the big 3, few extra grounds for good measure. Blah.


Then some equipment came in:




Subwoofer, size L


Then I ripped down some wood.

So after all that was time to start building. It was summer time, I like beer and I like to fish. Was slow going you know...


SAZ3500 was not mine. One of 2 in my buddies Dodge. Shows the 120' of Stinger 16awg ran to the doors. Love that little crap, so easy to work with.

RCA's, speaker wire, power/ground, blah blah

Oh yeah, then I had to buy a tag...


Oh, and I started building.

...so here's the door. 3 Memphis Mojo Pro 6.5, 1 Memphis Mojo Pro super tweet. Running at 2ohm per channel on a DD C5c

Sweet, just found one of my wiring up the amps... Prior to cleaning the wires and trim panels quite obviously...

Anyways, back to the future some...

At this point I was pleased with the build, it did VERY well on pretty much anything, threw up good numbers, and was a ton of fun. However the roof and doors hated it.



At the advice of Don Richard's I bought some Windo-Weld, filled those turds and beat the shit out of it.

Anyways...

Sad face time.

Ripped one of the channels that runs up each side of the roof, to fix it the box had to come out. Time to rebuild. I've been building a TON of b pillar 4th's over the past few years and decided it was time I did my own. Talking with a friend who owns a company he's going to be having some 2k-2.5k rms woofers coming soon so I figured 8 15's would work well for.

So... Was trying to finish for the TDH show, needed 8 temporary woofers, needed them fast. Since we're Sundown dealers figured Zv3's would work, especially since I had a buddy with 4 he wanted to dump, 2 of which were brand new.

Sooo...
First 4, plus a 9518 peaking in


and then... I got the news the woofers wouldn't be in in time. So, building stopped.

Other 4 came in today, game on.

Lol I'm so awful at build logs you'll probably only get to see bits and pieces here too. Got some people hounding me to do one, so might as well try atleast.

This log looks awesome to me man! I wasn't really a build log person either but a bunch of local people were hounding me to do one for my little setup. You're setup is beast it def deserves a build log! Tuned the fuck in!
