to be honest the amount of Deadner i have on my door and the fact that the sound isn't getting threw the door to outside world is what i think is saving Me. if i didn't have so much deadner and if i cut out the whole where the magnet is suppose to be i think i would be losing allot more sound.

take it as you will if you like the way it looks try it for your self. but the amount of sq I'm losing is so small i really think I'm gonna keep it.

my biggest problem before i did this was i didn't have any mid bass punch. (granted they were stock) i had Good highs but no feel from 200-80hz now i have that. and like i said earlier i gained mid bass thump.

thanks everyone for your input, Good or bad it was all helpful! I'll post the vids in a Lil bit. crappy phone Mic might not even hear a difference... but that's a Good thing right? lmao

I wonder if your perception of louder mid-bass is just based off of the loss of the mids.

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

If he likes it good.

I would try it if I could but it would take modifying of my door panels and the loss of being able to roll down my manual windows.

meaning the lack of vocals is making the bass stand out more? no and i only know that because i can feel it more. i turned my sub amp off from the knob for all the testing. normal almost no feel of bass. inverted i Can feel it. And with the way it is now subs mids and tweets full tilt It sounds great! clean clear loud. def don't feel like I'm lacking anything. no prob hearing all the words. put on the wall and i can still hear his fingers sliding over the strings between chords. so no complaints here. if anything i gained sound from doing this.

this makes me want to build and port my next pod. might even invert my 6x9s why the hell not worked for Me so far!

let the sarcasm flow!
