My question is: What are the advantages/disadvantages of running 4 1500W amps vs. 2 3000W amps vs. a single 6000W amp. Side question: What amp(s) would you suggest? I mean if you can say use 2 3000watt amps at 2ohms then it could be more efficient then one 6k at 1ohm. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

I guess I will be looking for a 6k@1ohm amp. ChevyBoy95 Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 truthfully.... you will want around 8k for those.... used them, and even in 10 cubes for 2 15s on a 5k, the suspension could keep up, thermally not so much. But i think you will want the extra 2k for the times you need it.
