ParDeus Posted April 29, 2014 Report Posted April 29, 2014 And so do some of my $1000 Mmats amps, lol.
Krakin Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 Just a momentary DC offset, most likely. Shouldn't affect anything once the dc current returns to normal. Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
ncc74656 Posted May 6, 2014 Report Posted May 6, 2014 did you replace your radio as well when you installed the rest of the system? if so and if you are still using the factory amp for your speakers you may be giving to much power to the remote turn on lead. many factory systems use 6 volts to turn on and not 12 volts. would explain the poping nothing, gutted
truthsayer Posted May 6, 2014 Report Posted May 6, 2014 If the popping is not due to a bad ground. Good chance one of your rca connectors on the amp is (internally) not grounding correctly. It's an easy fix. truthsayer
