Joe X Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 If you decide to build the above make sure the dimensions are suitable.
hispls Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 Take it from a guy who has built literally dozens of boxes for Jeep Grand Cherokee, you don't want subs and port back. Subs and port up is OK, best is subs up and port towards the passenger side corner. Consider making the box 30-32" wide, 17.5 tall (that should be under the window line) and you should have about 28-30" between the back seat and the hump where the liftgate latch is. I repeat. Optimum for that Jeep is subs up and port to the side, but be sure you have enough clearance for the port to load properly. As a side note, you really don't have enough volume to do a pair of 15's properly and stay under the window line.

Aliaxer Rivera Posted May 1, 2014 Author Report Posted May 1, 2014 for ot to ask....what screws should I use?
Joe X Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 for ot to ask....what screws should I use? You use 3/4" MDF, wood glue (high quality), and drywall or MDF screws. For bracing you use 1 1/4" wooden dowel rods, have your cuts done at home depot for free and also you will need screwdriver, drill and a jigsaw at least to complete the job.
