ghostlyrich Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 Is it possible that the park wire connected to the harnesses ground could be causing this issue? could be try running a ground strait to a metal frame piece My youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/ghostlyrich Mazda 3 2006 Build (R.I.P) http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172728-mazda-3-2006-stealth-build/ Volkswagen GTI 2011 Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/192979-vw-gti-2011-build/ Jeep 2015 Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/201493-my-new-jeep-2015/
bassman619 Posted May 5, 2014 Author Report Posted May 5, 2014 Ok ill keep you guys posted. Im gonna pull out the hu and see if it keeps going..then ill switch rcas..then ill try grounding park wire to fire wall..and if it keeps up ill try grounding the rcas to the back of the hu You need trunk space to get groceries and shit...bitches love groceries
bassman619 Posted May 6, 2014 Author Report Posted May 6, 2014 Tried grounding the rcas ..didnt work..tried removing the rcas from the hu..no noise ..then I switched the highouts with the rcas I usually use for my sub out memphis audio utpf rcas and plugged them into the amp and no more noise...guess jl audio rcas suck balls. But now I have another issue..when I play cds its fine I have music in both mids and tweets but when I switch to bluetooth music audio I only get sound from one side ..tried switching rcas at the amp and the music switches sides. I guess those rcas are bad too but theyre better quality than the jls You need trunk space to get groceries and shit...bitches love groceries
BoomZoom808 Posted May 6, 2014 Report Posted May 6, 2014 Did you ground your head unit to the frame or direct to the battery? I switched from Walmart RCA's to Stinger 4000's and it did nothing to fix the noise. Grounding to the frame and poof its gone. 2010 Mazda 3s 2.5L Pioneer DEH-X9600BHS Knu OFC 1/0 SS Platinum AGM / XS Power XP750 Alpine PDX F-4 / Morel Maximo 5 + Coax 5 IA 10.1 / SSA XCON 12

bassman619 Posted May 7, 2014 Author Report Posted May 7, 2014 Yea...the hu was grounded directly to the firewall with a ring terminal and a selftapping screw. .lol at islandpride ..yea I had figured that out a couple days ago while messing with the settings all is good but now I feel like going back to my pioneer 8300 singledin..man it was so easy just plug in the lightening cable and the ipad plays and good quality too..I feel like im sacrificing some sq by connecting thru bluetooth You need trunk space to get groceries and shit...bitches love groceries
BoomZoom808 Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 So did you fix the noise? And yes BT is lower SQ 2010 Mazda 3s 2.5L Pioneer DEH-X9600BHS Knu OFC 1/0 SS Platinum AGM / XS Power XP750 Alpine PDX F-4 / Morel Maximo 5 + Coax 5 IA 10.1 / SSA XCON 12
bassman619 Posted May 7, 2014 Author Report Posted May 7, 2014 Yea fixed the noise..bad rcas...changed them..no more noise..do u think bt is lower sq than 3.5mm aux input You need trunk space to get groceries and shit...bitches love groceries
BoomZoom808 Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 Yes I think the 3.5mm is still higher quality. I always use USB to bypass the built-in DAC but the device you are plugging in to will effect that. 2010 Mazda 3s 2.5L Pioneer DEH-X9600BHS Knu OFC 1/0 SS Platinum AGM / XS Power XP750 Alpine PDX F-4 / Morel Maximo 5 + Coax 5 IA 10.1 / SSA XCON 12
bassman619 Posted May 8, 2014 Author Report Posted May 8, 2014 Ahhh..I figured it out ..dnt need bluetooth anymore..so I was looking up ipod adapters because one of my friends said I needed an adapter so I figured might as well see what they cost and then I came across a video and it tells how to get the ipod input to get audio.. and the issue was I could connect and control the ipad mini but no sound..so I did what he said which was just fumbling with some settings and it worked..its really a round about way to do thinks idk why kenwood made their units like that..but it works and im happy with it..but I think j need to reset my gains on my amp because it sounds different and harsh im pretty sure im getting distortion at about 31 volume.but the speakers arent as loud as before ..but im not gonna do that in the dark thx everyone for your help ill post a thread explaining how to fix it You need trunk space to get groceries and shit...bitches love groceries
