I looked at my passive crossovers real good for once and I noticed something that I cant find an explanation for on the internet.. on one side it has prongs that say tweeters 0db -3 db -5db..I understand thats the slope of the crossover for the tweets..ok...but on the other side it has prongs that say standard and bi-amp ..whats this? It also has input high ..input low ..output woofer.output tweeter ..ive always had my input connected to input high and both the mid and tweet work..nvr had anything connected to input low

You need trunk space to get groceries and shit...bitches love groceries

You can bi amp the components meaning 1 channel separatly to mid and 1 to tweeter.

first off that 0, -3db, -5db is not your slope its a tweeter attenuation feature. slopes are in intervals of 6db. bi-amp is exactly what it sounds like, bi meaning 2 amp meaning powered so 2 powered channels allowing you to power each channel individually. it worked before b/c the jumper was set to standard, if you set it to bi-amp it won't work on both speakers. you can also use bi-amp to get a lower impedance to get a little more power out of your amp if you don't have all the channels to power each.

if nothing changes, nothing changes

Those numbers represent the DB cut in attenuation, meaning it cuts the sound level of the tweeters from being to harsh.

0db is the normal output, -3db is a cut of 3db of tweeter volume and finally the -5db will cut the volume by 5db from the tweeters which is the max.

Move the switch to one of the positions you find that the tweeter is least harsh but still gives you what your looking for.
