Got 2 13w7s goin in a 30 hz 6 cu ft box. wired to 1.5 ohm probably, have to check the coils when i get home bc they usually arent 1.5 ohm. Wondering what amp to go with. Deciding between 2 jl 1200/1s, jl 1000/1 and rockford 2500. issues are that the 1200/1 has a subsonic filter set at 30 hz, and i wanna hit low and not waste the box tuning. rockford has it set to 28 hz, but might overpower the subs. 1000/1 i believe has a variable subsonic filter. any suggestions? I'd hate to waste the low notes.

Both JL amps have adjustable frequency on the infrasonic filters or they can be turned off all together. I believe the rockford is a set frequency but can also be switched off.

Love my Rockford but my lil JL 500/1 has so much more tuning capability I would do the JL's if you got the cash.

the jl slash amps do have allot of control! that's why i loved my 500/1s but you can get the ct 3000.1 that will stomp all over both of them for the price of 1 of them. they have a subsonic filter that can be adjusted and the hpf filter to put a cap on them.

i went from 2 500/1 v2s to a single ct 1400.1 and I'll never go back to jl... ever! yea i Cant control my q anymore but i have way more power and they are way more efficient!

just my $0.02 tho but if you wanna drop $2,+++ for 2,000w I'm not gonna stop you!

or you Can get 3,+++ Watts for $9,99.99

and the 3,000w is a 12.8volt rating
