audiofanaticz Posted May 15, 2014 Report Share Posted May 15, 2014 1800woofers is another site designed by mark lafountain, owner of SSA, and apparently 1800woofers as well. Its pretty much all the same stuff as what SSA sells. He is also the guy who done work on these forums years back (which is mostly done by kyle from dc power now). Steve and LFTN where also doing audioaddicts.com, but not really sure whatever happened with that. But LFTN does a great bit of audio webdesign. ascendantaudio.com is still registered and owned by scott of fi/aa, the website has been down for a while, and is NOT part of 1800woofers. Simply put, SSA has woofers oem'ed by Scotts company (fi/aa), and Mark from SSA is an online dealer for ascendant audio, hence why AA is forsale on his website, along with the 1800woofers website which is Marks, and on WCCarAudio which is Steves online store. There is no redirect from the aa site to the 1800 woofers or anything. rumor was that the site was being redesigned and updated hence why it has been down for months on end, not sure what is taking so long with it however, but id assume it would have something to do with the new(er) woofer lines being released.
