Lowest voltage you would run?

Recommended Posts

Show me a vid,..

Put a 200 amp fuse inline.

ANd GO APE SHIT..

Show me that you blow it..

hell .. put a 150 in.......

On a musical peak a fuse won't blow over it's rated, especially these fuses we use for CA, and I know you know that. But I'll do you one better than popping a fuse, here's a vid I shot a couple weeks ago. Voltage is off and low because I wired them in quick and used the same leads for both, but amperage is it's own run, it's where it should be.

Of course amperage draw is frequency dependent, and this song only goes into the mid-40's I think.

I don't drop under 13.6 revving, and I'm more than cool with that.

The lowest Id ever consider going is low 12s.

I see Kyle trying to prove a point, isn't that the same thing you're doing?

Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do that
I can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows

came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream.

oh lawd.

A dc 5k will pull 400 plus amps at 1 ohm if pushed full tilt at clean power levels. I just put a clamp on a buddies dc 5k wired at 1 ohm the other day. the only way I can see you pulling 200 amps is if you were either wired at 2 ohms or your gains are not set properly to their potential.
