Borris The Blade
Building season is coming to a close here in Wisconsin unless you're one of the fortunate ones with a heated shop. You sure got a lot done in what seems like short time, but this summer felt like it never came. Curious to what the btls do on some real power. Quote It's like rubbing your wiener up against a sheep. Miguels
http://www.mobilesolutions-usa.com/store/p267/Medium_Viscosity_CA_Glue_%28Watery%29.html Not the correct CA to use for woofers, there is specially formulated ca that is rubber toughened semi-flexible glue and foam safe. Mobile Solutions glue is just relabeled FastCap Adhesives. FastCap is decent glue, but its just not for the right purpose. I sure wouldn't use it for my woofers, but that's just me. I buy my glue direct from an undisclosed company which I wont name, but even if you found out the company you would have a hard time finding the model since its not listed on their site. A few audio companies use this same glue (fi being one of them which is why I linked to Fi). thats good to know. 1 Quote my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

RainStryke
Those new subs look awesome, I really like the red logos. So if you were to recone subs ....surround and spider and dust caps. What glues would you use? I'm having trouble finding the correct adhesives.E6000 I've learned wasn't the best choice, and I'm considering 3400lb epoxy now for everything except the dust cap.Any thoughts? It's on sale at the moment here: http://www.soundqubed.com/WonderGu-2oz-Kit_p_209.html
