not much going on this week....it's been raining for 3 days now, but I welded up a small bracket to hold the intake. Cheap aluminum CAI from ebay and the mounting bracket snapped off. I also managed to find the source of the rattle in my exhaust. I was almost positive I bought a cat without a heat shield...I was wrong.

Trying to decide on what comes next....I've been avoiding the bumper like the plague, because I don't feel like sanding. But I really want it in at least primer before it gets cold. thinking about mounting the mids possibly this weekend.

Minor update....I sprayed the rocker and wheel well with rustoleum undercoat sunday afternoon......2 1/2 days later, it was still tacky. I HATE RUSTOLEUM. This has happened before and I will never buy their shitty products again.

Moving on....I decided to undercoat the whole rocker while I was at it. Picked up some duplicolor undercoat and got to work masking. Hard to see the final pic since it's late, but you get the idea. Hopefully I'll get to go home early from work tomorrow so I can finish welding the quarter panel and finish the bodywork on the dog leg. This will all be covered by the side skirt anyway but I'd rather take extra steps now to make sure the rust doesn't come back for a long time.

I use the Duplicolor bed liner spray in my rear wheel wells and it works pretty good. Good progress on the project man.

thanks man. that duplicolor holds up so much better than the rustoleum.

The quarter is all done welding. just on to body filler now. And I got the dogleg primed too. Not perfect, but definitely better than it was.

(I love the fact that I forgot to take pictures of the metal plate I welded in to fill that hole.....So now it just looks like I body filled the cardboard template, awesome)

ordered another gallon of resin.....I gotta do something with my doors. Right now, I have no sound in my car....it's been okay since I only have a 10 minute trip to work, but it's getting old. Resin should be here wed. and I also went ahead and pulled the trigger on some 4 way stretch vinyl that matched the best (Rapper 103). The plan is to make some pods that fit in the door vents (for the 3" Helix) and wrap them to make them look stock. I'm gonna be cutting up the old door panels for fitment, I'll get it squared away, then know exactly how I want to do it on the new panels.

Wednesday is supposed to be close to 80 and sunny so it will be perfect for glassing. Tomorrow night, I'm gonna try to get the rear passenger quarter in high build primer....Then maybe painting the amprack.
