Aaron Tuck TBA
I have Diyma oversized 0 gauge wire throughout. All grounds have been ground down to bare metal for both the big 3 and the amp/rear battery. Like I stated in the first post I have a XS D925 under the hood and a XS D2400 in the trunk. Stock alternator for now looking into a new one. I have a ground from front to rear batt and a ground to the rear strut bolt that I have sanded bare. Everything is tight. I'll monitor voltage at the amp tomorrow. Quote 2000 Cavalier 4 doorXS D925XS D2400XS D31004 runs of 1/0 Mechman 270 2 DD 9515js
CleanSierra
You may have an amp that's got a problem then. Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
Aaron Tuck TBA
If it is an issue with the amp I want to test and make sure it's not a fault somewhere else. If it is the amp. Any one you could recommend on repairing? Quote 2000 Cavalier 4 doorXS D925XS D2400XS D31004 runs of 1/0 Mechman 270 2 DD 9515js

Miguels
not enough electrical.. what DMM did you use to tune the amp? Aaron Tuck TBA
It's DMM I purchased at O'Reilly Auto. I figured my electrical should be ok for the amp turned down. I ran my old zx750.1 with a birth sheet rated at 930 wrms in to 2 ohms without the xs power batteries. Miguels
DMM are not accurate.. i have one from autozone and its was off from the fluke at 2 ohms your electrical could be okay Quote my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
P4killer_
Yea at 2 ohms that amp could do well over 900w.. but notnlikely after rise etc.. Maybe your alt doesmt do much if anything and your slowly pull the batts down while the alt cant keep up and go into low voltage protect after 3 min or so.. Aaron Tuck TBA
I know the amp can push more than 900 into 2 ohm load. That's just where I have it set. sundownz
Very common issue with any of our older Zenon made amps is the Stinger RCAs not playing nice with the connectors on the amp -- swap those to a cheap set from wal-mart or similar and try it again.
