dd9515mmatsjugg
Yes that would work though it would be only an increase of like .2-.3 but its worth a try. Also if you do go that route don't forget to wire the subs in reverse.. So you can try both methods and see what sounds better to you.. How does your current box sound?? it is tuned a lil high for me so im thinking on the outer wall of the port adding a 1" board on the inside to make the port smaller should lower tuning a bit MEMBER>>Team Pulse Car Audio 97 Z71 sierra 8" jl w0 md 400watt amp and dvd system 2000 malibu 1 18" old style btl, jl audio 1000/1v2 build in progress My YouTube 100% positive buyer feedback on eBay mmatsjugg306 is my ID there [topic='http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/148756-dd9515mmatsjugg-feedback/']leave me feedback hear for buying and selling[/topic]

Joseph Chambers
So if I have 2 of the current HDC310s on a 2200.2 it would be HDC310 - 1.5 cube net with 17 sq inch port area per cube - tune between 36-41 hzor HDC310 - 1.25 cube net with 16 sq inch port area per cube - tune between 36-41 hzbecause is this per speaker or for the amp running two speakers? I think I would need 2.50 net cube box and 40 of port.. right? Cj Kumz
It's per sub. So in your case each sub is getting half of the amps power. So for you it's 1000 per sub meaning a 3 cube box with 48sq in of port Vw Polo Pioneer Deh-6050UB Sundown Saz-3500d DD Audio 9500 15'' 5.5 cubic feet box with 10 inch port @ 38hz I live to hear the Bass drop!!! Next_Level
I know this is an old post but I just recently ran across it. I have an HDC3 15 d2 single sub powered off an IA 40.1 (first gen) at 1 ohm . the first box I built was around 4.3 cubes net and the port was 31 x 2.25 in. and 19.5 in. long, the new box is right at 3.75 cubes net with a port of 8"x7.5"x23.5" . the original box seems to get louder but has a very narrow freq. range and when it hit low it falls flat on its face, kinda embarrassing , the new box has a lot better range and hits a lot lower and sounds good but not as high of output . the old box is sub up port back, the new box I tried sub and port back, also sub and port up but I think I am going to try sub up port back again with the same box. my question is will changing the port and sub configuration get me to the output desired or what, just trying to figure the best way to get decent numbers. 05 jeep liberty 80 prs h/u id xs 65 fronts ss sp2.654 rears id q450.4 4ch. ia 40.1 sub ch.
