so i live in a trailer and have most of my subs in a closet. As you can imagine the walls rock almost too much! I cant hear the walls over my systen yet but im scared if i get anything better then it wont be good! Could sheets of 3/4 wood stop the madness happening in the other room?!/ This is not really meant for an exact answer but more of opinions on how you would solve the problem.

I don't think 3/4 wood is the way to go. It's adding material, but wood is still a resonant material and being flat and somewhat solid I'd think it would reverberate just like your existing walls. Also, a lot of hard flat surfaces make for terrible music listening (ever heard the echos in a large space without carpet or futniture?)

It would look janky as all Hell, but if you could score some carpet cheap hanging that on the walls would definitely deaden them. Other options would be some kind of fabric, the thicker the better, especially if it has some spring to it like plush. What I think you're looking for (correct me if I'm wrong) is something to hang over the walls to absorb the sound energy so that it stays in the room and doesn't rattle the walls.

Not pretty, but it should work. Accoustic foam is probably technically the more appropriate material, but if you can get it cheap it ought to work.
