White Lightning
It's not more about your equipment, but about your install ... Voltage - Fine all aplifiers combined rated at 4 ohms ... best thing to do would be to take out all mids and highs amplifiers and have nothing but sub amplifier(s) ... Kenwood / HELIX / Linear Power (For The Love Of Music) / Brutal Sounds / OverKill Electric Co Questions About Sound Quality ?? Try Here ... Sound Quality, What does it REALLY mean ?? BigManAC
Would it be fine if I just disconnected the RCA's from the amp or would I need to disconnect the power and ground wires 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
White Lightning
every amplifier is counted towards your rated power no matter what it is hooked to. kjvsop
PROPER POWER CLASS: A competitor may not compete in a power class other than the one that his/her total system power dictates. The exception to this would be the unlimited or “OPEN” power class Any and all amplifiers within the vehicle under test will be included in the system’s total power. This sum will not include the power, if any, of the systems source unit (radio, cassette tape or CD player) unless it is actively driving a speaker or a group of speakers. All amplifiers in the vehicle must be operational and actively used in operating the sound system during testing or be physically removed. At local events amplifiers may be left in the vehicle provided the event director has the ability to definitively determine the amplifier is not in use. Competitors whose systems include amplifiers that are not manufacturer rated, are modified internally, or not commercially available will be required to compete in the unlimited power class of their respective division. http://www.soundoff.org/rules/2014splrules.pdf Kicker ZXS 1500.1 Solo-Baric S12L72 (2) ZX 650.4 KSC693 6x9 (4) PKD1 1/0 AWG K-Series RCA's 4 AWG Big 3 85 Monte Carlo
TaylorFade
Nobody counts highs amps anymore. Even though it's still in the rules. 99.99999999% of judges will just let you unplug the RCA's if they even bother at all. Just quickly looking at your build log, you're certainly eligible for "Trunk 0-1000". Which is probably the class you would want to run. BUT... you're also eligible to run one of the clamped classes. Those are fun. Run Super Stock 2,000w clamped. Or both clamped and trunk. You can also run mod or super mod or super port or trunk 1,001+ or stock 0-750 or whatver. You're basically eligible for any class USACi offers except stock 2k clamped because you have an extra battery.
