Who want to see a snapped Front drive shaft.

Recommended Posts

Putting in a privacy fence today and had to remove some stubborn tree roots. Had it in 4 low in reverse pulling with tow hooks and heard a pop  . Not one singe auto parts store has one in stock or even has them available.

Found a used one on ebay for $50.00 shipped. Got the PB blast soaking in now.

Yea it was a great day.

first the drive shaft.

Then I have this huge ass tree and trying to dig holes with a one man auger also and get the bit stuck in the ground because of tree roots. I did get it out but what a pain in the ass.

Then I think I got some Poison ivy.

Talk about a tri-fecta

Oh I forgot on my last hole it started pouring down rain and I have a bit stuck in the ground.

Thanks, you confirmed my suspensions. I have a small 4wd suzuki sidekick. Maybe you can still drive your vehicle in 2wd til the part arrives?

I had the bright idea to use it to pull up some yard waste as well. I concluded it would tear up the yard too bad and ended up on my hands and knees with a dry wall saw hacking the roots and limbs up to cut the stuff loose.

nice job. I think i bent my frame trying to jerk a tractor trailer up some ice. All he had was a chain and i hit the mother fucker hard as hell. Bent my hitch and i think it tweaked my frame. But i got him unstuck.
