lancelot0069 Posted June 18, 2014 Report Posted June 18, 2014 Ok, well I've been working on the enclosure for about 6 months, very slowly. It was cold for far too long in VA. Box is finished now minus the port that I will do once I have made my final decision on subwoofer. The subs that I had originally intended to use for the meantime turned out to be total junk. I integrated an amp into the factory system 1/0 gauge wire from front to back ran underneath the car and up into the trunk without cutting any holes. I currently am using an older Audiobahn A1600V amp that puts out about 1600 Watts RMS. Tuned way down. I calibrated everything with a DD-1 and CC-1. I threw some 15's that I had laying around for a while but took up too much trunk space so I took them back out so I would finish the custom boxes. Well here it goes: More to follow. I'll be building a mirror image box on the other side, adding another amp and finishing the amp mount as well as adding a Nexus 7 to integrate in the dash. I'll be starting those in about a week. Just in time for my trip to Texas. Just doin' my thing in the car audio. Still working on getting build forums up. It was coming out so smooth though I almost wanted to paint it though. I may end up upgrading the factory amp and mid-bass driver, but the infinity sound system really sounds good. I will however add a RF 360.3 to really get everything I can out of the sound. Just doin' my thing in the car audio. Still working on getting build forums up. I think I'm going with 2 DC lvl 2 12"s. Should sound pretty amazing in this car. I'll have more pictures of the box build this time, I use my phone for pictures and the last box was filmed on another phone that I can not get the pictures off of, it died... I'll add more of the amp integration as well. Just doin' my thing in the car audio. Still working on getting build forums up.
