Anyone running a Crescendo Battery?

They have a pretty good 31 group battery for a good price.

Think this battery is the best bang for your buck?

Hmmm i may end up buying one for the trunk of my car. Theres a thread on here that compares some batteries out there and the Crescendo one holds up pretty damn well

I wanna see how that goes. From the test someone did in the other thread the crescendo battery was like around .05 of a volt lower than what the XS batt did. But for 300 bucks i think i can handle that small of a drop compared to XS lol

The things with tests that the majority of people don't look at is many things besides voltage drop, alone voltage drop is no way to determine if a battery is good or bad when comparing them.

Many other factors play a huge role such as:

internal resistance.

voltage drop.

voltage recovery which is how fast the battery regains its float voltage after a load test has been done on a battery (this is MAJOR) and testing 2 batteries "head to head" by putting a larger load on one battery than the other and running them til they are dead does nothing to prove this.

Led content and how much led is on the plates and how tightly the plates are packed.

They say virgin led makes a drastic difference vs recycled and refined led. I think its just marketing there are so many recycled products used every day with no issues and if the process is done right there should be a very minimal difference.

Im sure there are more things im forgetting yet, but time for bed

Oh yeah theres a ton when seeing if a battery is good or not. I wish i could test the batteries, but i dont have the patience to do it lol. Im stuck between this battery or a different one for 20 bucks more uggghhh.

I like trying new things and giving different products a chance, but when ur paying 300+ for a battery you kind of want to go with what is proven to be the best
